Ky Smith

Ky Smith ,a native of Northern California, has been professionally practicing cosmetology for over ten years. As a young child, Ky always had an artistic vision for hair and fashion. In 1997, Ky stepped out in faith, moving to Los Angeles, California, to continue her dream as a hairstylist. Since then, she has become known as an educator, a motivator, and an innovator in her industry.Ky has received advanced training from Dudley's Cosmetology Advanced School Systems, has excelled in Goldwell's color classes, and has conquered the Vidal Sassoon Academy with a concentration on haircutting.

Specializing in hair coloring and haircutting, Ky has been featured in everything from independent films (Roller World) to hair publications (Hype Hair and Black Hair). She was also the recipient of Dudley's 2006 EMS Awards for the "Knowledge Seeker." Ky has also been working feverishly on her new salon, Folliclez 360 (Torrance, California), which opened in the fall of 2006.

As Ky continues to draw inspiration from other successful stylists, she will use her salon to share the plethora of knowledge she has acquired with other aspiring stylists. Ky strongly believes that the key to success is God, family, and perseverance.
